This hand-drawn animation was created in collaboration with Mary Yarney and Dr. Lewis Hsu at the University of Illinois of Chicago. Its purpose is to educate a lay audience in Ghana of the utility of hydroxyurea, a drug that can be used to treat sickle cell disease.
